Calling all activity leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, club leaders, facilitators and the like, we need you! If you are looking for work during term time delivering after school clubs to children in dance, drama, singing, musical theatre, filmmaking, photography, sports, arts and crafts, clay modelling and so on and/or working on our Easter, Summer or Christmas Programmes we want to hear from you. Work is subject to availability and relevant employment checks.
The next Holiday Programme we will delivering is the Summer Holiday And Food (HAF) Programme 2023. This is Department for Education Programme free for free school meals children. We will also offer paid places for the programme. The dates for the HAF Programme will be from Monday 31st July - Thursday 24th August 2023 (Monday to Thursday only) across London Boroughs. You are expected to be available for all the dates. We are looking for Supervisors and Teaching staff (TAs, Teachers, activity leaders) for the programmes. If you are interested in teaching on our programme you should be comfortable teaching drama, dance, singing, arts and crafts and nutritional educational activities to children aged between 4-16 years old. Full training and lesson plans will be provided. Supervisors, you must be comfortable with supervising the programme from beginning to end and reporting to the Programme Manager, completing paperwork such as Risk assessments, preparing the medicine bag on site, accepting food deliveries for the children, cleaning the site, managing the staff and other duties.
You must have/being willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (please see below), safeguarding training and First Aid training. Supervisors are expected to have a Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene, Food Allergen Awareness training and First Aid Training. We will provide the safeguarding training for free however the other courses are outsourced to another Provider where they will be a cost associated to them. We will provide you with the links for those courses.
You will be required to have an Enhanced DBS within the last 3 years. If you do not have an Enhanced DBS we do process DBS checks however this will cost £60.00.
