No classes from Monday 28th October - Friday 1st November 2024 due to October Half Term

We are delighted to announce we will be delivering the following clubs at Mayfield Primary School:

​

• Lego Club on Mondays for Years 1-2

• Chess Club on Tuesdays for Years 3-6

• Science Club on Tuesdays for Years 1-2

• Musical Theatre Club on Wednesdays for Years 3-6

• Science Club on Wednesdays for Years 3-6

 

This is open to children who attend Mayfield Primary School only.

Clubs at Mayfield Primary School

 

Monday Lego Club 

 

The Lego Club is for Years 1-2 from 3:30pm-4:30pm from Monday 9th September 2024 - Monday 16th December 2024 for 14 weeks

 

The fee for this term is £74.20 per child per club 

 

Tuesday Chess Club 

 

The Chess Club is for Years 3-6 from 3:30pm-4:30pm from Tuesday 10th September 2024 - Tuesday 17th December 2024 for 14 weeks

The fee for this term is £74.20 per child per club 

​

Tuesday Science Club 

 

The Science Club is for Years 1-2 from 3:30pm-4:30pm from Tuesday 10th September 2024 - Tuesday 17th December 2024 for 14 weeks

​

The fee for this term is £85.40 per child per club

​

This club has an increased cost due to resources required for the club

Wednesday Musical Theatre Club 

 

The Musical Theatre is for Years 3-6 from 3:30pm-4:30pm from Wednesday 11th September 2024 - Wednesday 18th December 2024 for 14 weeks

Lego Club

​

"Build with us"

​

Come and Join us every week to explore the amazing engineering World of Lego! Children will take part in building Lego creations as a group and individually every week following a theme. Lego Club is great for improved hand/eye coordination, the development of spatial skills, persistence and patience, enhancing fine motor skills, problem solving skills, achieving a sense of accomplishment, learning how to plan, teamwork when playing with others, enhancing creativity and experimentation, improved focus and concentration, increased self-confidence and above all have fun!

Chess Club

"Check Mate"

​

Come and join us every week to increase your IQ, memory function, develop your creativity and exercise both sides of your brain as well as increase your problem solving skills! Chess club offers a wide range of activities and will help increase the child's reading and maths levels by learning the game, taking part in club tournaments, increasing your decision making skills, instruction and lectures and take part in recreational play. 

 

Science Club

"Knowledge is Power" 

​

Put your Science hat on and come and join us every week to take part in the beautiful World of Science! Every week will be something new as you will get to take part in different scientific disciplines, conduct experiments and discussions and participate in various scientific activities across Chemistry, Biology and Physics and enhance problem solving skills. Take home all your cool science-related creations. 

​

Musical Theatre Club 

​

"Act, Sing and Dance"

​

Come and Join us to learn about Musical Theatre! Musical Theatre is a mixture of singing, dancing and acting all in one! Children will increase their singing, dancing and acting skills and learn about different musicals and write their own scripts ans musicals and make up their own in the later part of the term. 

 

How to Register 

Please kindly complete the short registration form below and select which club you are registering your child for and we will send you a confirmation email for the details for the club. Please note the registrations for the clubs are open now. Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Childcare Vouchers

​

We are accepting childcare vouchers for places for the clubs. In order to redeem your voucher please redeem via Mayfield Primary School and please add the following reference for your child(ren):

After School Club (Sunrise Kids)

​

Our clubs (Skipz) finish at 4:30pm. If your child is attending Sunrise Kids after 4:30pm we are more than happy to drop them to them. Please answer Yes or No below on the Form. If the child is not going for the full term please email us at skipzmayfield@gmail.com detailing the dates they are attending Sunrise Kids. This is to ensure that parents are not paying for the clubs and also their child attends the correct provision.
