"Quadruple Your Summer with Performing Arts and Arts and Crafts - The Skipz Experience 2024"

Welcome to our Hackney Summer Holiday Activities and Food Programme 2024. We are delighted to hear from you. To access this programme children must be:

​

• In receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals (these places are free on the programme)

• A resident in the London Borough of Hackney

• If not in receipt of benefits Free School Meals, we also offer paid places on the programme. This is £25.00 per child per day for lunch included. Please only pay for your child's place if you are not in receipt of free school meals

• Open to children between 5-11 years old

Our Programme starts on Monday 29th July - Thursday 22nd August 2024

         Come and Join us for a programme of Summer Themed Activities including: 

•  Plays and Drama Activities

• Arts and Crafts

• Clay Modelling Activities

• Singalongs and Dance

• Best Dressed Themed Competition

• Nutrition Education Activities

• Parent Workshops and Families Support

Our Summer Programmes are running over 4 weeks for 4 days a week over the Summer Holiday. Each week there will be something different! We will be delivering 4 types of different themes: 

​

Week 1: ​Monday 29th July 2024 - Thursday 1st August 2024 - The Ocean theme

Week 2: Week 2: Monday 5th August 2024 - Thursday 8th August 2024 - Royalty Week 

Week 3: Week 2: Monday 12th August 2024 - Thursday 15th August 2024 - Rainforest Theme 

Week 4: Monday 19th August 2024 - Thursday 22nd August 2024- Around the Word - Learning about different Cultures and Religions

All themes will be taught through dance, drama, arts and crafts, clay modelling and nutritional education activities

​

We are delivering this Programme at 1 venue across the borough in partnership with:

​

       Parkwood Primary School, Queens Drive, London, N4 2HQ

​

Please note: By completing the form below you are consenting for your details to be shared with The Council for Monitoring and Reporting Purposes.

This programme will run from Monday 29th July - Thursday 22nd August 2024 from 10am to 2pm. Tuesday to Friday only. Lunch will be from 12:30pm-1:00pm. There will be a Vegetarian meal and Meat meal served in line with The School Food Standards for children in receipt of free school meals. We are still finalising the menu and this should be available shortly, however please state which meal your child will prefer. For lunch purposes, we need to know any dietary requirements your child(ren) have (i.e. meat lunch/vegetarian lunch/any allergies/nuts allergy/meat allergy/dairy etc).

Please rest assure, in light of the current situation with reference to the Pandemic, appropriate health and safety protocols are in place before commencement of the programme. A Covid Supervisor will be present on site to manage the health safety and of our staff and children and we will also adopt the school’s policy regarding this situation.

​

In the event of your child not being able to attend the programme please notify us immediately by emailing us at skipzhafhackney@gmail.com so we can allocate their place to another child. This is very important as registration means you are offered a place on the programme and your child's lunch will be organised upon registration. 

​

We also have something for the Parents. We are delivering a fantastic online Nutritional Workshop for Parents with a qualified Nutritionist during the Programme. 

 

The date for the Workshop are:

• Wednesday 31st July, 7th, 14th and 21st August from 11am-1pm

​

 Different topics will be covered each week. All Workshops will take place online via Zoom from 11am-1pm. You will have the opportunity to learn about healthy eating, cooking recipes on a budget, how nutrition prevents disease and illnesses amongst children and so much more! In order to register for this please state YES at the bottom of the registration form for the programme. 

 

Once the form/ payment (if applicable) has been received we will send you an email with the Programme details. Please register ASAP. Payment for the programme must be made before your child is due to attend.

In order to safeguard our service users and staff, a Covid Health Declaration Form and Registration Pack will be sent to the nominated email address which will need to be completed and sent back to us.

You will receive a email to say you have been booked on to the Programme followed by another email by our admin who will provide the Programme Itinerary. Please also check your Spam/Junk/Promotions (if you are using Gmail) folders as some emails may fall into there.
